About
The NeOn Technologies Foundation (NTF) is a not-for-profit organization responsible for the management and distribution of the NeOn Toolkit (NTK), as well as other technologies originally developed as part of the NeOn Project. We aim to gather together those individuals and organizations interested in using or further developing NeOn Technologies for the purpose of co-ordinating development activities, dissemination, and training events.
Our goals are:
- To develop and promote the uptake of advanced semantic technologies.
- To promote high standards in ontology engineering and semantic application design and development through the development and release of robust methods and tools and examples of best practices.
- To educate students, users and practitioners in semantic technologies through the publication of research outputs and learning resources and the organization of training events.
The current version of NTK (v2.5.2), which is based on the OWL API v3.2.0, was released in December 2011.
